Wow!  It is hard to believe we are already at the second semester and heading into Spring.  This is my favorite time of the year for teaching and learning.  You can help at home each night by making sure your child reviews for all tests and keeps up their math/reading skills.  This month we are continuing to work on non fiction readings, fractions, the new Constitutional Government and Force/ Energy in Science.  We have taken practice SOLs in reading and math and will train the children to be ready take on-line testing this year.  

In Social Studies, we will be writing a research paper on a famous Virginian who contributed a lot to the formation of our new Government in 1781.  Please ask your student what they do each day in school since our schedule is full of wonderful activities and learning opportunities. 

Please watch for all review materials to come home for tests.  These will help your child meet with success.
